Crew Size & Quality Most
of the time, All Business Video is just me. When the
job requires, I contract additional crew from the
most experienced, hard working pool of creative
talent around, the Indiana independent production
community. Either way, you always get the best people for the
job–and only the people you need.
Experience You’d think
with over 33 years in media production, there’s a good
chance I’ve encountered about every situation
imaginable. The words made me laugh as I wrote
them. Every time I walk into a client facility, I
face new lighting, sound, space and logistical
challenges. There is never time to experiment, you must
know intuitively what will and won’t work. My clients
don’t pay my fee for the few hours I’m there; they pay
me for the knowledge gained over the past 3 decades
that lets me know exactly what to do during the few
hours I’m there. |

Control I own all my own
gear from the camera to the lights to the sound
equipment to the truck to haul it in. Mixers,
switchers, cables, stands, tripods and jibs. I own the
editing computers, programs, graphic and music
libraries and DVD authoring and burning software. I
keep it all current and well maintained and I know
exactly how to get the most out of every piece. Your
project won’t be affected by unfamiliar, inoperable or
over-committed equipment.
Character I used to joke
that I was born in a necktie. I work as easily in
corporate and professional environments as I do on the
factory floor. Some may think a guy with a camera on his shoulder
is an unwelcome sight in a business. But I make
people feel comfortable, respect their work and stay out
of their way. I have often been told, “After a few
minutes, I forgot the camera was there!” Videos don’t
have to be a distraction. |
